Candle Care

The tradition of carving candles originated in Germany centuries ago. Evolving from simple designs through to complicated scenes, and later into what we now know as Dip and Carve Candles or Carved Candles, the fascination of working with the wax has been handed down from generation to generation of carvers, and throughout the decades the goal has remained the same; to create a beautiful work of art to be admired for years. Bringing the same values to our own workmanship, each of our candles are dipped into an acrylic glaze to protect the fragile details and to provide protection from handling and dust.

To clean your candle, simply wipe gently with a moist cool cloth to remove dust. For the longevity of the colors used in your candle, keep your candle away from direct sunlight, and away from external sources of heat to prevent warping or melting. To protect your surfaces, always display your candle on a paper doily or candle holder, to prevent the dyes in your candle from marking your surface. Burning instructions are included with each candle when purchased.
